"The tin earrings were inspired by tin boxes collected over time. So many metal containers of the past have such lovely patterns. After the tin pieces were cut, shaped and scored, they were coated with resin. For [this] style, acrylic was carved and added to embellish the design with a pop of color."
Robin Kranitzky and Kim Overstreet of Richmond Virginia collaborate to create mixed media art jewelry. They work together with a wide variety of materials and techniques to build intricate scenes and facinating narratives. Their highly respected and collected work is truly a joy to witness.
